Our Journey
What began as a start up, Biso LLC laid the foundation for what would become one of Egypt's most innovative mobility companies. With a commitment to quality and customer service, Biso started its journey with a focus on reliability and forward-thinking solutions that would soon transform the local market.
In 2010, Biso evolved into MATGR, a shareholding company with an expanded vision and mission. This transformation marked the beginning of our journey to become a leader in sustainable mobility solutions, bringing our passion for innovation to a broader audience while maintaining the values that set us apart.
We opened the doors to our first MATGR store in 2016 in Masr El Jadida, signalling a new chapter in our mission to provide accessible, top-tier mobility solutions to customers. This store became a central hub for customers to explore our range of products, experience our unmatched service, and become part of the MATGR family.
In 2017, we laid the cornerstone of the MATGR Assembly Factory, a pivotal step toward localising production and bringing world-class mobility solutions closer to home. This state-of-the-art facility, completed in 2023, is a testament to our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
With the opening of two new stores in 2018, MATGR’s footprint grew, bringing our versatile product range and customer-centric services to even more communities. Each new store reflects our dedication to making reliable mobility solutions accessible to a wider audience.
In 2021, MATGR introduced G.Ride, a revolutionary subsidiary offering electric vehicle fleets to gated communities. With a seamless mobile app, G.Ride transformed how residents move, offering a green, efficient, and hassle-free way to navigate within their communities—solidifying our role as a leader in sustainable mobility.
In 2022, two more stores joined the growing MATGR chain, expanding our reach and continuing our mission to provide innovative and reliable transportation solutions. Each store stands as a testament to our progress, ensuring more customers have access to the future of mobility.
